VOTE YES ON ISSUE 6! HERE'S WHY:
- Issue 6 is NOT a tax increase! Eight years ago, our citizens voted "yes" on a proposal for a 1/4% (0.25%) income tax increase, the first tax increase in over 20+ years.
- The purpose was improve our preschool system and provide support to our Police and Fire departments (2016 ballot, Issue 9).
- Issue 6 is a renewal to continue the commitment our citizens made 8 years ago to help maintain our staffing levels, at a time where Dayton's emergency call volume is the highest it has EVER BEEN.
- A vote FOR the renewal of Issue 6 shows your commitment to our firefighters, EMT's, and Paramedics. When you call 911, our job is to show up to your worst day. We ask that our citizens show up for us and pass Issue 6!
